Carolina Turning is family-owned and operated. We are located in beautiful Charleston, SC. We started our business in 2011 by turning pens in the basement of our home. We fell in love with the joy of creating something completely unique each time you go to the lathe. We love the creative process and continue to learn new and exciting techniques and products regularly. Along with wood blanks, we also create our own personally designed acrylic blanks. This makes the possibilities endless. 

At Carolina Turning, we take care to provide our customers high quality services personalized for their unique needs. We can mix and match many different styles hardware with different woods or acrylics. Please take a look through our products. We take pride in our selection of quality products. All of the items we offer are hand turned, one-of-a-kind pieces. ​We would love for you to come see us at the Charleston City Night Market on Friday and Saturday evenings and the Charleston City Market on Sundays during the day throughout the year. We are there with over 60 other entrepreneurs, displaying certified authentic Made in Charleston items.
